Accounting Controller

Rafael manages all accounting related processes at LD&D, including preparing financial statements and overseeing all development draw-related processes.

Prior to joining LD&D, Rafael worked at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. as Supervisor of Operations in the Mortgage Banking division, where he led the implementation and execution of a bankruptcy post-closing quality control system that increased employees’ productivity by 80%. Before J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., Rafael worked as an Audit Associate at CohnReznick, LLP, where he conducted financial statement audits for companies ranging from $34 million to $2.5 billion in revenue, serving a variety of industries including renewable energy, technology, construction, life sciences, pharmaceutical, and hospitality.

Rafael holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Maryland, College Park.
